Federal Legislation
The Association supports the federal government's role in promoting the quality of public education through research, development, and demonstration programs. A Federal Legislative Program is adopted annually by the FSBA general membership and is distributed to Florida's congressional delegation. The Program is formulated by the Federal Relations Network (FRN) Subcommittee based on the review of pending federal legislation. The Program contains explicit position statements on various federal issues. The FSBA staff assists FRN by advocating its position and providing expertise on federal education issues.
